As we enter June, the Louisville-area real estate market continues to show signs of resilience. While buyers have become more selective and inventory remains elevated compared to last year, homes are still selling and transactions are still closing.
In fact, for the first time in quite a while, weekly solds actually outpaced the same week last year. That's an encouraging sign for both buyers and sellers as we move into the summer market.

Inventory remains substantially higher than last year, giving buyers more options than they had during the highly competitive markets of the past few years.
However, buyers have not disappeared.
Despite higher mortgage rates and affordability concerns, serious buyers are still entering the market and closing transactions.
The biggest difference today is that buyers have become more selective. Proper pricing, strong presentation, professional photography, and strategic marketing matter more than ever.
