Message From David Hittle, Realtor - United Real Estate Louisville

Hey Everyone, and thank you so much for staying informed through my weekly newsletters. Last week our live was at 3106 Maywood Pl's open house and had a pretty good turn-out. If you are interested in that video check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2h4CFQc5Ts

This week in the Mortgage Interest Rate market interest rates held steady at 5.09%, same as last week's 5.09%. These interest rates holding steady is contrary to what should be happening. With the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by .5 points we should have seen mortgage interest rates rise as well. It seems the housing market, and that portion of the economy seems to be pushing back on the federal reserves pushes. I and other experts I've spoken with believe this has to do with all of the lending institutions competing now, for the lowest rates. As long as the lending institutions see a steady influx of homebuyers, and they continue to compete against each other for the lowest rates rates may continue to hold steady unless the lenders get priced out.

If you or someone you know has questions about the real estate market, or you would like a personal neighborhood market report don't hesitate to reach out and ask. You can also visit my website www.shopkentuckyhomes.com - and enter your zip code to recieve a market report as well.

Don't try to navigate this choppy housing market alone, have confidence by having a professional by your side during your real estate transaction.
